DEPUTY MINISTER OF JUSTICE MEETS WITH HEAD OF TACIS PROJECT

Deputy Minister of Justice Vilayat Zakirov met with Marko Korsi, the Head of the EU-financed Tacis project to support the service of court supervisors and officers in Azerbaijan. Mr. Zakirov stressed the important role of the project in improving professional skills of local court supervisors and officers bringing them to international standards.

In the frame work of the project, they have taken training courses, which had been organized both in Baku and other regions of Azerbaijan, visited European countries to study advanced experience in this field, and get acquainted with modern information technologies. Besides, under the project, local structures have been supplied with computer equipment, and began to create an information center.

Mr. Korsi, thanked the leadership and employees of the Ministry of Justice for the fruitful cooperation in the implementation of the project, and appreciated the steps taken in the country to improve existing legislation and the system of execution of judicial decisions.
