DEVELOPMENT OF AZERBAIJAN WAS IN CENTER OF ATTENTION
In his remarks on the topic “Azerbaijan - development proceeds”, Mr. Rufat Mahmud has highlighted the important transformations which have occurred in the economic life of our country for last years, has told about the expedient activity which is carried out by President Ilham Aliyev in this direction, the won successes, that the basic purpose is directed on strengthening and development of economic base of regions and that Azerbaijan becomes economically advanced state in the future.
Representatives of Azerbaijan have taken part in discussions devoted to the Republic.
After plenary reports, the statements of the French experts connected to the region and businessmen have been heard. In the report on the theme “Azerbaijan - oil policy and policy of economic diversification”, the adviser on economic issues of the embassy of France to Baku Michel Zhele has turned the basic attention to the question of more and more intensive development of Azerbaijan, has called the French businessmen for cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The president and the general director of Company "CIFAL", Zhil Remi, representative of Company "SALANS", James Hogan, the manager of bank “Sosiete General” Denis Davidoff, too, have especially emphasized value of the Country and its development aimed at economy.
Head of the department of Company " ТОТАL" for the Central Asia Jean-Michel Salvador has dwelt on activity of the Company in Azerbaijan and its prospects.
Questions at the round table concerned, basically, the business, important and concrete projects, which are carried out in our country. The citizen of France A.Grigoryan's of Armenian origin, repeatedly addressing with questions, tried to state in a roundabout way the ideas connected to necessity of realization of joint regional projects. The general director of branch BIH Eastem of Company "GASTEL" Jean - Paul Lafransi, in the answer has stated on impossibility of such cooperation until the reasons preventing realization of regional projects will be eliminated.
