Egyptian media highlight Armenian-Azerbaijani helicopter incident

A number of Egyptian online resources have published articles highlighting the downing by the Azerbaijani armed forces of an Armenian helicopter.

Qate.ahram.orq.eq, youm7.com and shorouknews.com portals referred to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, saying that Armenian Mi-24 helicopter was shot down when it attempted to attack the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in Agdam. The Egyptian websites described the incident as the most serious one since the ceasefire had been achieved in 1994.

Www.shorouknews.com underlined that "separatist Karabakh authorities confirmed the destruction of the combat helicopter and the death of three Armenian pilots." The website also emphasized the fact that Armenia continues to occupy Azerbaijani lands, including Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent regions.
