Election process ‘very well organized’
Baku, November 7 (AZERTAC). Vasiliy Mordashov, head of the CIS election observation mission in constituencies No. 4-30 and 31-3 in Nakhchivan city, told AZERTAC`s correspondent the election process had been very well organized. “We saw in how democratic and transparent atmosphere the process is taking place.”
Mordashov particularly praised the installation of web cameras in constituencies in Nakhchivan. “It is a very positive factor. Everyone can follow the election process on the Internet in every part of the world.”
He also hailed the turnout in polling stations. “As you know, I have observed elections in many countries, but very few of them have marked such high turnout as in Nakhchivan.”
Mordashov pointed out the conditions created in Nakhchivan to conduct free and democratic elections could be example for other regions of Azerbaijan and also CIS countries.
