EU appoints new head of delegation to Azerbaijan

Baku, August 5, AZERTAC

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel has announced the appointment of a new head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan.

According to the decision, Peter Michalko was appointed to this post. He will take office on September 1.

Peter Michalko is currently Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova. He formerly served as Slovak Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic.
