EXPERIENCE OF AZERBAIJAN’S PROSECUTOR GENERAL’S OFFICE PRAISED IN DUSHANBE
The delegation informed other participants of the event that the Office of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan had had the “Mutual Legal Assistance” and “Human Rights Manual for Prosecutors” of the International Association of Prosecutors translated into Russian, and distributed them among members of the Association.
Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Coordination Council of CIS member countries’ Prosecutor Generals especially mentioned the preparation of the “Code of Ethics of Public Prosecutors” describing it as a positive experience of the Office of Prosecutor General of the Azerbaijan.
Yuriy Chayka, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation was elected Chairman of the Coordination Council of Prosecutor Generals of the member-states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Next session of the Council was scheduled for March of 2007 in Kazakhstan.
