FAREWELL CEREMONY OF PROMINENT AZERBAIJAN ACTRESS HELD
The coffin with body of the deceased was established on mournfully decorated stage of the Azerbaijan State Theatre of Musical Comedy. Before the pedestal, were the awards and medals received by the immortal master of stage during her creativity, and around - wreaths on behalf of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, from the state and governmental organizations, including the Ministry of culture, the Union of theatrical figures, other theatrical collectives.
Colleagues and friends of Nasiba Khanum, who was one of coryphaeus of our stage, known art workers and artists, sciences, admirers of creativity of the deceased, with a never-ending stream came to pay tribute to the outstanding master.
In the guard of honor were the deputies of Milli Majlis, representatives of the state and government, and also men of science, art and culture.
To the theatre for participation in ceremony of farewell with Nasiba Khanum Zeynalova - one of irreplaceable persons of Azerbaijan stage, arrived the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev.
In guard of honor before the coffin with a body of the deceased were President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Chairman Milli Majlis Murtuz Alaskarov, the Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh and head of the President Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev.
The head of Azerbaijani state expressed deep condolence to the members of family, natives to the deceased.
Deputy Prime Minister Elchin Efendiyev, opening the memorial ceremony, spoke of life and creativity of the deceased, invaluable merits of Nasiba Zeynalova in development of theatre and cinema of the Republic, how she has enriched with the bright and substantial images our theatrical art. E. Efendiev, having noted that in due time the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev showed care and attention to all art workers, has reminded of his meetings with Nasiba Khanum, deep respect for her.
President Ilham Aliyev once again expressed deep condolence to the members of family of the deceased.
President of the В“Fund of friends of the Azerbaijan cultureВ” Mehriban Khanum Aliyeva also expressed condolence, wished fortitude and patience to the natives and relatives of the late.
Nasiba Khanum was buried at the Alley of Honors in Baku. Let Allah rest his soul in peace.
