First congress of World Azerbaijani Youth due in Germany
Baku, October 29 (AZERTAC). First congress of World Azerbaijani Youth will take place in German city Frankfurt from November 26-28. The Congress will be organized by Azerbaijan State Committee for Work with Diaspora and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in accordance with Azerbaijani Youth State Program approved by President of Azerbaijan.
The Congress aims to involve the Azerbaijani young people living abroad in building Diaspora, to intensify their socio-political activity and to strengthen relations with the homeland.
Officials of Azerbaijani state and government, members of the parliament, Azerbaijani ambassadors to Russia, France, Germany, UK, Switzerland and Turkey, Azerbaijani representatives to the Council of Europe, TurkPA, OIC Youth Forum, representatives of the European Court on Human Rights, heads of the youth organizations, Diaspora organizations, as well as students studying abroad are expected to attend the Congress. A large delegation of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) will also join the event.
AYOR is a new stage in development of the cultural life of the Azerbaijani Diaspora, a brave step towards the youth. This project covers not only the life of the Diaspora, but also a number of aspects of the youth policy of Russia. AYOR coordinates civil initiatives of the youth. AYOR is the most active youth organization outside Azerbaijan.
A wide range of issues, including popularization of Azerbaijani realities, the role of the youth in development of intercultural dialogue, integration of the young Azerbaijanis living abroad, protection of the human rights and freedoms will be discussed at the congress.
The Union of World Azerbaijani Youth will be also established. A presentation of the Virtual weekend school will be held within the event.
