Foreign Minister of the Azerbaijan Republic Elmar Mammadyarov will be on an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on 5-7 July, on the invitation of his German counterpart Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, press service of Foreign Ministry said.

In the frame of visit, Mr. Mammadyarov is said to meet with Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of Bundestag Norbert Lammert, the aide to the federal chancellor on foreign policy issues Christoff Hoisgen, as well as the state ministers of defense and development, will appear at the Fredrick Ebert Fund with a lecture on topic ‘Azerbaijan - towards Europe’.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic to Germany Parviz Shahbazov has met with the state ministers of FRG Gunter Gloss and Gernot Erler and discussed in detail the agenda of the forthcoming meeting.
