Fourth meeting on Caspian security due in Baku
Baku, November 1 (AZERTAC). The Fourth meeting dedicated to the problems of security in the Caspian Sea will be held in Baku on November 3-4.
The previous three meetings with the participation of deputy foreign ministers and experts of the Caspian states were also organized in Baku. These meetings were focused on interaction of the government agencies of the Caspian states to ensure security in the Caspian region and a draft agreement on cooperation. The document reflects global fight against terrorism, organized smuggling, arms traffic and so on and is expected to be discussed at the Caspian summit, slated for November 18 in Baku. Prior to the summit, the working group will meet in Tehran on November 10 to discuss the legal status of the Caspian.
