Dear President, dear brother,
It was with great sadness that I learned - after returning from the official visit to the fraternal Azerbaijan - of the news about the loss of lives caused by a fire on oil platform No 10 in the Gunashli field in the Caspian Sea.
On behalf of the Turkish government and on my own behalf, I wish that Allah would rest the souls of those who died in peace, and grant recovery to the injured. I extend my deepest condolences to Your Excellency, bereaved families and the fraternal people of Azerbaijan.
