GAS PRICES NOT TO INCREASE THIS YEAR

Azerbaijan’s state-run gas company Azerigaz has announced that gas prices will not be increased in 2006.

This year Russia doubled prices of gas exported to Azerbaijan.

During the first three months of 2006, Azerbaijan has imported about 1.8 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia.
