GERMAN AZERBAIJANIS ANGRY OVER DEMONSTRATION OF PRO-ARMENIAN DOCUMENTARY
Baku, June 17 (AZERTAC). The Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany has sent a letter of protest to the Berlin-based Moviemento House of Cinema over demonstration of migrant filmmaker of Armenian descent Don Askaryan`s documentary “Berg Karabach” (Nagorno-Karabakh) on June 3-9, which is based on lies and slander.
Karabakh Armenians, who appeared in the film, make slanderous statements and misrepresent facts in the film. After investigating the information provided by the Azerbaijan`s embassy in Germany, the Center expressed its protest to the Moviemento over screening the film and provided facts on Khojaly tragedy to unmask Armenian crimes.
The letter demanded to demonstrate films featuring Azerbaijanis` opinions on Karabakh truths, fair stance of Azerbaijan and meet Cinema House`s management.
