GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN FINANCES THREE MORE PROJECTS
Before the beginning of ceremony, Chairman of Committee, vice-prime minister, chairman of the Republican commission on international humanitarian assistance Ali Hasanov has informed on contracts. He told that the total cost of projects exceeds 203 thousand US dollars. Projects will be realized in Salyan region and Binagadi district of Baku and also in the city of Sumgait.
The ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Toshiyuki Fujivara, speaking about the rant program “Roots of grasses and safety of the person ”, has told: “The embassy allocates means for the projects of social and economic development directed on increase of standard of life of the Azerbaijani people and providing needs of the population, carried out with the non-governmental organizations, municipalities, medical and educational establishments within the framework of this program. The program has been realized since 2000.
Then, the contracts have been signed.
Ambassador Toshiyuki Fujivara has signed with the head of the non-governmental organization "Umid-98", Isral Iskandarov the project “Development of vital conditions and education of the IDPs placed in the city of Sumgait”, with the head of the national non-governmental organization “In the name of the future” Azer Ahmadov - “Construction of building of school in settlement Sulutepe of the Binagadi district for children from the IDPs families from the Lachin region”, with the head of the national non-governmental organization “Azerbaijan Maarifchi Genjler” Ruhiyye Yusifova - “Construction of building of new school in village Kerimbeyli of Salyan region”.
Speaking at the event, minister of education Misir Mardanov, heads of the non-governmental organizations have expressed gratitude to the government of Japan, Ambassador in Azerbaijan for free aid.
