GUAM TO HOLD MEETINGS ON TRANSPORT AND ENERGY PROBLEMS
Baku will host round table meeting of the National GUAM Coordinators Council - Organization for Democracy and Economic Development. Scheduled for 23 October, the meeting is expected to cover some transport issues, including Eastern China - Eastern Europe project realization.
In the middle of November, National Coordinators Council of GUAM will meet in Tbilisi, while in December the GUAM Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs will hold a meeting in Helsinki, Secretary General Valery Chechelashvili told AZERTAC.
“We are going to spotlight GUAM activities in the field of regional energy projects realization. The problem of energy projects security is on the agenda by GUAM working group for energy sector”, Mr. Chechelashvili stressed.
Organization also envisions prospects of information and experience exchange, and close interaction between the emergency structures. “These projects will be developed not only within the GUAM, but also in wide GUAM+ format”, Valery Chechelashvili stated.
