HASHIMOV TO FACE GELFAND IN WORLD CUP`S QUALIFYING ROUND

Baku, May 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani chess player Vugar Hashimov will face Israeli Boris Gelfand in the qualifying round of the 3rd ACP World Rapid Cup in Odessa, Ukraine.

Before, the Azerbaijani grand master defeated Ukrainian Zakhar Efimenko 1.5-0.5.

The qualifying round will also see games: Alexander Grischuk vs Alexander Moiseenko, Sergey Movsesian vs Peter Svidler and Dmitriy Jakovenko vs Arkadiy Naiditsch.
