Sheikhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, head of the Office of the Caucasus Moslems met July 25 with UAE delegation led by Ali Ben as-Said Abdurahman al-Hashim, adviser for Religious Affairs and Federal Shariat Court.

S. Pashazadeh briefly clued up on the processes taking place in Azerbaijan over the recent period. On Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Haji Allahshukur Pasazadeh said that Azerbaijan Army led by its President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev is ready to liberate native lands from Armenian aggressors. However, Azerbaijan is committed to peaceful settlement of the conflict.

Head of UAE delegation, in his turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. The guest noted that his country supports steps Azerbaijani side undertakes to solve the problem.

In conclusion, Haci Allahshukur Pashazadeh presented gifts to the guests. Sheikulislam gave dinner in honor of UAE delegation.
