HEADS OF STATE MEET IN PRESENCE OF DELEGATIONS
The Azerbaijani leader stated he attaches a great significance to his country’s cooperation with the Kingdom of Jordan. He noted this visit and the negotiations held in the course of it would contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries. He especially pointed out there were very good prospects for economic cooperation. The President added the activity of the newly opened Embassy of Azerbaijan to Jordan would also promote strengthening and deepening of relations between the two countries.
King of Jordan Abdullah II expressed satisfaction with visiting Baku and meeting President Ilham Aliyev.
He noted he was impressed by the progress he had witnessed during his short stay in Baku.
The King shared President Ilham Aliyev’s views on the need to develop not only political but also economic relations between the two countries, and stressed that expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan would meet interests of both nations.
His Majesty Abdullah II invited President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to pay an official visit to Jordan.
