Heydar Aliyev Center to host solo exhibition of British sculptor

A solo exhibition of famous British sculptor Richard Deacon will be launched at the Heydar Aliyev Center on Friday.
Entitled “On the Other Side”, the exhibition will feature 50 works of the artist.
Monumental, relatively small works made from wood, metal and ceramics as well as organic examples and accurately trimmed constructions will be on display.
Richard Deacon was born in Bangor, Wales in 1949 and lives and works in London. He won the Turner Prize in 1987.
