III REPUBLICAN SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO JUBILEE OF OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR ended
In an interview to AzerTAj correspondent, BSU rector, NASA corresponding member Abel Maharramov said that scientific-pedagogical activity and eventful life of professor Abdullah Mukhtarov is an example for young generations.
The conference participants heard a report of the dean of physics faculty of the Baku State University Rasul Muradov entitled “Life and activity of professor Abdullah Mukhtarov”, NASA corresponding member Sabir Hajiyev’s report entitled “Professor Abdullah Mukhtarov – founder of theoretical physics school of Azerbaijan”.
The reports said on Mukhtarov’s lifetime, his contribution to science and education, in particular, his unique role in development of the theoretical physics.
Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, NASA academician-secretary Akif Hajiyev, chairman of the Milli Majlis permanent commission for science and education issues Shahlar Asgarov, chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov, pro-rector of the Azerbaijan State Teacher’s University Vilayat Aliyev and others congratulated Abdullah Mukhtarov and wished him success.
