INCREASING FINANCIAL POSSIBILITIES HELP SOLVE SOCIAL PROBLEMS IN AZERBAIJAN
Chairman of the Milli Majlis standing commission on economic policy Ziyad Samadzadeh told AZERTAC that Azerbaijan`s financial possibilities are increasing with the country`s economy developing. It paves the way for solving social problems of the population. Salaries and pensions, assistance to needy families are increasing every year. Budget revenues surged 4.9 times from 2004 to 2008.
Rapid economic progress, increase in financial possibilities necessitates improvement of the monetary and budgetary policy. While budget revenues constituted 12-13% of GDP, it reached 24-25% in recent years.
