INTERIOR MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS GEORGIAN DELEGATION
The Minister updated on the structure of department, the directions of activity of MIA and criminal situation in the country.
Mr. Ramil Usubov has noted, that Azerbaijan in the beginning of 90s of the past century as a result of occupation of Azerbaijani lands, and displace of about one million of compatriots from their native lands, and also uncontrollable condition in the country, has appeared before threat of civil war and loss of independence. Only under direction of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev the country has gained the way of development, and today owing to tireless efforts of President Ilham Aliyev, it became a leading state in region. He has emphasized useful cooperation of Azerbaijan in conditions of good-neighborhood with members of the international community, including with Georgia.
The opportunities of cooperation are wide enough, in the further these opportunities will be much more effectively used in the name of well-being of the two peoples both on international, and on regional level, the Minister stressed.
Konstantin Kemulari, having noted, that Azerbaijan from the point of view of economic development, well-being of the population, really, has become a leading state in region. He has emphasized, that the cooperation, friendship and brotherhood between two peoples gradually go deeper, including law enforcement bodies.
The sides had comprehensive exchange of views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
