International Bank of Azerbaijan wins GUAM banking contests

Baku, April 6 (AZERTAC). Ceremony of the winners of international contest "The GUAM Best Banks - 2010" has been held in the Kiev-based GUAM Secretariat. The contest was organized by the GUAM jointly with international publishing house KBS-Izdat (Ukraine), Credit Rating and journal The Banker.

The contest objective was to determine the best banking institutions operating in the territories of the GUAM member states in certain areas of their activities.

The contest was conducted among 173 banking institutions of the GUAM member states. The winners of the competition became 11 banks and four bankers in various categories.

International Bank of Azerbaijan became the winner in first international contest "Banks of the CIS, Baltic States, Georgia - 2010" in nomination the Best Technological Bank.
