International conference on inclusive education underway in Baku
Baku, October 14 (AZERTAC). An international scientific-practice conference called “Inclusive education: experience and future responsibilities” is underway in Ambassador Hotel Baku.
The conference organized by Azerbaijan Ministry of Education, Institute of Teachers, the United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF), the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI).
Employees of Ministries of Education of the CIS countries on special pedagogy and psychology and inclusive education and related bodies are attending the conference.
The aim of the conference is to investigate ways to involve people with visual impairment to inclusive education and determine future prospects on their integration to society and environment for them without barriers.
Azerbaijan Minster of Education Misir Mardanov made speech on works done in inclusive education and future responsibilities in the conference.
The conference will culminate on Saturday.
