International Youth Forum participants adopt resolution
Baku, September 27, (AZERTAC). An International Youth Forum titled “New generation: responsibility without borders” has today wrapped up in Baku. The Forum adopted a resolution which underlines importance of cultural dialogue between youngsters, implementation of cooperation projects.
The document particularly stresses that the youth should not be a hostage of the protracted conflict. “We consider that youth should be armed with knowledge, sound approach to the situation, ability to communicate and create communication, the ability to initiate and be responsible for the implementation of projects aimed at cooperation, dialogue, creation,” the resolution says.
Summing up the results of the forum, Azerbaijan`s Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev noted that the fruitful discussions were held during the forum and Azerbaijani and Russian participants agreed on further expansion of existing relationships. According to the deputy minister, organization of such joint events will help Azerbaijani and Russian youngsters to find a solution to many common problems, and establish permanent communication platform for discussion of topical issues of the modern world.
At the final meeting of the forum the participants decided to hold the next Azerbaijani-Russian youth forum in Russia.
