INT’L TRAINING COURSES ON STRUGGLE AGAINST DISCRIMINATION HELD IN BAKU

A weeklong international training courses on the topic “Let’s unite against discrimination”, organized at the International Press Center by Youth and Sports Ministry, the Council of Europe Youth and Sports Directorate and Azerbaijan Public Association of Volunteers (APAV) started in Baku, 10 July.

At the opening of action, speaking was the deputy minister of youth and sports Initgam Babayev, president of APAV Ceyhun Osmanli, MP Ekrem Abdullayev and others. They noted necessity of raising the level of work with youth, to expand ties with youth organizations in numerous countries, and use correctly the potential of young generation to remove existing problems over the world.

25 representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Georgia and Baltic states participate at the training courses.

At the courses, focused will be issues related to racial, religious discrimination, gender equity, propagandized human rights, cultures. Also will be disputed the role of NGOs in development of national companies.

The courses will last until 15 July.
