Investigation continues as Azerbaijani soldier went missing after Armenian provocation

An investigation is being conducted after a soldier of the Azerbaijani armed forces went missing when the Azerbaijani army prevented a provocation attempt by the Armenian armed forces, according to Azerbaijan State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing People.
“The investigation continues after Azerbaijani soldier Chingiz Gurbanov went missing when the Azerbaijani armed forces prevented an attempt by an Armenian reconnaissance-raiding group to cross the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border. Related international organizations are involved in the process.”
The commission said the results of the investigation will be made public.
