Islamic Development Bank Group expresses readiness to finance AI initiatives in Azerbaijan

“The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group is ready to provide financial support to Azerbaijan for artificial intelligence projects,” Yasser Alaki, Director of the Business Development Department at the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), told AZERTAC.
Yasser Alaki noted that artificial intelligence is of global importance, not only for Azerbaijan, adding that the IsDB is ready to financially support relevant initiatives if Azerbaijani companies develop such projects.
He also stated that the group aims to support Azerbaijani companies in expanding exports, attracting investment, and strengthening financial and banking activities, offering services ranging from credit insurance to trade and project financing.
