ISSYK KUL CONFERENCE APPRAISES STEPS TAKEN BY AZERBAIJAN
Speaking at the Conference, head of the Ataturk Center of Culture of Azerbaijan, MP Nizami Jafarov noted importance of the maintenance of TRNC. ‘Loss of the Northern Cyprus is not loss of a community, but this will be disappearance of whole history. If we cannot reach success in settlement of the Cyprus problem, then, it will not be only loss of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, but loss for entire Turkey, the Turkic world and even the whole world’.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Northern Cyprus Sardar Denktash, noting that the states, which establish relations with his country, are threatened, said that as soon as we established links with Azerbaijan, on the agenda there appeared the question Higher Karabakh. After establishment of relations with Kyrgyzstan, this country was urgently imposed the Parisian agreement.
The deputy from the Party of Justice and Development Mevlud Chashigoglu, having noted the assistance of Azerbaijan to Northern Cyprus, has emphasized, that Turkey for admission into the European Union would not refuse form the Turkish part of island.
At conference, the deputies of Kyrgyzstan have declared, that would use the best efforts for stoppage of isolation of the Northern Cyprus. Chairman of the committee of foreign relations of parliament of Kyrgyzstan Bakit Bakatayev has stated that because of this action in Bishkek they are exposed to pressure of Greece and the Greek part of Cyprus. The adviser of the embassy of Greece in Bishkek has declared, that owing to carrying out of this conference, they would present note to Bishkek and a complaint to the European Union.
