JUBILEE OF LEGENDARY AZERI OILMAN MARKED IN MOSCOW
Jubilee of the well-known Azerbaijani started with the scientific-practical conference, dedicated to fuel and energy complex of Russia. Known Russian oilmen have taken part in action, where also attending were colleagues on work in Western Siberia, representatives of Azeri community.
The congratulatory message to Farman Salmanov from the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was read out by the ambassador of Azerbaijan in Russia Polad Bulbuloglu.
In the message of the President, it was marked: “For many generations of oilmen, you are the one personifying the whole epoch in development of the richest oil resources of Western Siberia…. Today, the base of the modern oil-and-gas complex of Russia is made by those oil fields and gas to opening of which you have devoted more than 30 years of your life. Your successes of the oil geologist perfectly supplement also your scientific achievements. With high awards have been noted not only your huge scientific achievements, but also all activity as one of heads of oil branch of former Soviet Union. Owing to efforts of such unique persons as you, was increased the glory of Baku recognized as the “Oil Academy”.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin has also sent congratulations to the famous Azeri oilman and has highly estimated his activity.
