KOREA, AZERBAIJAN TO CO-OPERATE IN RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION
Korea Rail Network Authority stands ready to allocate $300 million for a proposed speed acceleration project in Baku-Georgian-border (Boyuk Kesik) rail line, Press Service of Azerbaijan State Railways said.
The said project envisions accelerating speed in this railway as part of the State Program for Railways Upgrade and will increase the speed to 120km/h from 80km/h.
As known, appropriate memorandum of understanding was signed between Korea and Azerbaijan on the $2 billion project.
