LITHUANIAN PRESIDENT VISITS ALLEY OF HONORS
Visiting Baku President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and his spouse today visited the Alley of Honors, where they commemorated the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his tomb. They also laid flowers at the tomb of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

The Lithuanian delegation today also commemorated brave sons of Azerbaijan who sacrificed their lives for independence and territorial integrity of the country, and laid a wreath at the memorial Eternal Fire, at the Alley of Martyrs. Here, the Lithuanian leader signed a Memory Book.
The distinguished guests were accompanied by Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalybov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, and other officials.
