Recently the Zabrat Machine-Building Plant, one of the 14 machine-building plants of Azneftkimyamash, was awarded a contract for piles fabrication for offshore pier ground by Azfen, contractor of BP in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Full Field Development Project.

Over the last five years, the plant has also worked as a contractor for Baku Steel Company - power lines base fabrication, CCIC - oil storage tanks fabrication, Technomost - helicopter landing on the Israfil Huseynov barge and others.

The plant was built in Baku in 1922 and is known as a mechanical engineering company specializing in the fabrication of oil equipment and diverse range of metal structures. Their major products include: drilling rigs certified by API, drilling mast, rig substructures, electric winch, mobile fuel treatment unit, tank trailers to transport non-aggressive fluids, rail cars to transport oil products, vessels of various capacity, tower metal constructions, cross rails, power line frames, frame supports, angle-tension towers, and diverse welded structures.

The plant is ISO 9001 certified for design and manufacturing of derricks and substructures, tanks and metal wares for the oil industry.
