London hosts conference on financial opportunities in Azerbaijan
London, November 9 (AZERTAC). An international conference “Azerbaijan’s Untapped Opportunities: What Financial Institutions Need to Know?” organized by the European Azerbaijan Society and Baker & McKenzie international law firm has taken place here.
The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijani and UK leading financial institutions and banks.
Speakers included Dan Matthews, Partner, Baker & McKenzie CIS Ltd.; Uzma Khalil, World Bank representative; Fuad Huseynli, representative of the VTB Capital (London) bank, Israfil Mammadov State OIl Fund`s director for investments, Emin Muradov department chief of the State Committee on Securities and others
Discussions were mostly concerned with Azerbaijan’s integration into world financial market, capacity of Azerbaijani banks, investment opportunities in the country etc.
