Regulate meeting of the Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society took place in Bucharest, 4 July, embassy of Azerbaijan to Romania said.

The Society involves men of science, culture, art, Members of Romanian Parliament, heads of numerous communities, renowned representatives of intelligentsia and authoritative businessmen.

The meeting made amendments to the Charter of Society, and also considered organizations questions.

It has been especially underlined, that the work directed on regular distribution among the Romanian public, in local mass media of the objective and substantial information on Azerbaijan should be continued. The people of Romania should know more about Azerbaijan, its history, culture, the art, the independent way, about the successful political-economical, legal reforms being conducted last years, the reached accomplishments, and also about the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The participants have highly estimated successful policy pursued by the heads of both states in strengthening of friendship and cooperation between two countries.
