METING AT DEFENSE MINISTRY
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Republic, first deputy defense minister colonel-general Najmaddin Sadigov on 9 June met with his Lithuanian counterpart, brigadier general Vitalius Vaiksnoras.
In the meeting, discussed were issues concerning army building, development of cooperation in military sphere, integration to the European safety structures, participation in international peacemaking operations, current military-political situation on the South Caucasus and Baltic countries, as well as the Armenia- Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and other questions of mutual interest.
