Microsoft to give smartphones Windows Phone 7 to all employees

Baku, November 2 (AZERTAC). Microsoft Corp. is planning to give smartphones based on Windows Phone 7 to its all employees. At present the company`s staff consists of 89,000 people. Note that if Microsoft fulfills its promise, it will repeat the experience of other companies, supplying the staff with its own products.

Thus, in June 2007, with the release of the first iPhone Apple CEO Steve Jobs stated that every full-time Apple employee and those working at the company more than a year, would get a free iPhone. At that time the company employed roughly 18,000 employees.

In late 2008, Google made a promise to give all its employees smartphone T-Mobile G1 Android-based platform on the occasion of Christmas instead of the traditional cash bonus.

Remind that first smartphones running Windows Phone 7 were launched in October 2010.
