Middle East Association and British businessmen meet for working lunch
Baku, August 9 (AZERTAC). The London-based Middle East Association and Great Britain`s businessmen had a working lunch here.
Addressing the participants Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the Great Britain Fakhraddin Abbasov spoke about the history of Azerbaijan, its foreign policy, Azerbaijan-UK relations, development of Azerbaijan`s economy, priorities, and investment opportunities in the country, reforms conducted by the government in this field and achievements.
Ambassador Gurbanov welcomed the British companies’ interest to Azerbaijan and invited them to establish business relations with Azerbaijan and to develop cooperation. Then, he answered the questions of the participants.
Charles Hollis, Director General of the Middle East Association, welcomed the guests and updated the businessmen on large economic opportunities of Azerbaijan.
