MINISTER OF EMERGENCIES MEETS VISITING TURKISH DELEGATION
Mr. Heydarov spoke of the bilateral relations and common roots between two peoples.
The Minister reminded the links established after Azerbaijan gained state independence, the role of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in expansion of these ties. Mr. Heydarov said he had made his first visit as the minister of emergencies to Turkey and gained certain experience from familiarization with activity of the same structure of Turkey. A relevant document on cooperation in this sphere will be signed during this visit, he noted.
Mr. Mehmet Ali Shahin said it was his first visit to Azerbaijan and touched upon the existing high level of bilateral relations between two brotherly countries.
The Turkish minister said his country is ready to render any assistance to Azerbaijan in any field.
The sides also had comprehensive exchange of views on a range of questions of mutual interest.
