MINISTER OF EMERGENCIES OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS BRITISH AMBASSADOR TO COUNTRY

Minister of Emergencies of the Azerbaijan Republic, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov on 14 July met with the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the country Lawrence Bristow.

The Minister stressed the notable strengthening of the relations between Azerbaijan and the Great Britain, in particular, in cooperation in the energy sphere.

Highly assessing the existing partnership relations between two countries, Ambassador Lawrence said the British Government closely watches steady development of Azerbaijan, reminding that the economic-political projects jointly realized by both states yield fruit. The British diplomat took interest in the activities of the newly established Ministry.

Minister Heydarov updated the Ambassador on the directions of Ministry’s activity, noting that the population seriously regards their activities.

In the meeting, also discussed were issues related to prospects of cooperation between the relevant structures of two countries.
