Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan to visit Belarus
Minsk, November 23 (AZERTAC). According to BELTA Agency, referring to the press-service of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus, on November 23 the minister of the emergencies of Azerbaijan Kamaleddin Heydarov will visit Minsk.
As is reported, during visit the parties will confirm comprehensive plan of actions for 2011-2013 on realization of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan signed on October 17, 2006 in Minsk. Mr. Kamaleddin Heydarov will acquaint with perspective scientific researches of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus, innovative approaches in training, modern samples of techniques, the equipment and fighting clothes of the Belarus rescuers.
As stated, the mentioned plan of actions includes not only development of already available directions of cooperation, but also new projects. It is, in particular, joint researches on risk for the population as a result of failures on industrial objects, training of experts of two countries, joint doctrines and many other things.
Rescue departments of Azerbaijan and Belarus have fruitful history of cooperation. At Commandment-Engineering Institute of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus more than 200 Azerbaijani cadets are trained now. The Belarus experts also rendered methodical assistance on professional training when the Academy of the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan was created. The team of young Azerbaijani firemen is the permanent participant of the international gathering held annually in Belarus.
