MUCH DONE TO DEVELOP FOOTBALL IN AZERBAIJAN, BLATTER
Baku, January 19 (AZERTAC). Much has been done to develop football in Azerbaijan, said president of the sport`s world governing body Joseph Blatter responding to questions on the situation of football in the country.
Speaking to a press conference following an opening ceremony of the international Commonwealth of Independent States and Baltic States Cup in Moscow, FIFA President said “we have always been cooperating with Azerbaijan`s football authorities, and our cooperation will be further developed”.
Last Saturday FIFA President met in the Russian capital with chief of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdullayev.
