Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic fully supplied with gas

Baku, February 7 (AZERTAC). The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been fully supplied with gas as a process that started in 2005.

The statement came from Rovnag Abdullayev, president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).

He said some smart card-type gas meters were installed for 50 percent of the consumers in Nakhchivan. He added this will reduce the level of losses from 25 percent to 7.4 percent.

There are also searches for alternative gas supply and construction of a gas storage facility in the Autonomous Republic, Abdullayev underlined.
