NAYORA delegation takes part in international seminar in Vilnius

Baku, May 30 (AZERTAC). Within EU`s Youth in Action program, a delegation of the National Assembly of Youth Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA) including fellow workers Ravana Hashimova and Fidan Kerimli have attended an international seminar held in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius.

The seminar aimed at promoting partnership and exchange among young people and the youth organizations across the world and support young people`s involvement in democratic life.

During the seminar, representatives of the youth organizations of the Black Sea region and Eastern Partnership states highlighted youth policy in their countries.

The Azerbaijani representatives spoke of the role of youth in the country and the role of Azerbaijan Youth Foundation.

The participants hailed the Azerbaijani government`s youth policy.

The Youth in Action program provides young people with all educational, social and cultural backgrounds and those working in the youth sector with a variety of opportunities for non-formal learning.

The Youth in Action program is funded by the European Union and managed in the UK by the British Council.
