Ambassador: Lithuanian and Azerbaijani universities maintain close cooperation
Baku, October 7, AZERTAC
“Our countries may be geographically distant from each other, but education is one of the key areas that brings people, particularly young people, together,” said Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kęstutis Vaškelevičius at a briefing dedicated to the “Study in Europe” education exhibition.
Noting that education had played a key role in Lithuania’s transformation, the ambassador expressed readiness to share this experience with Azerbaijan. He emphasized that cooperation could cover student and university exchanges, as well as international cooperation agreements.
The ambassador also highlighted the close ties between Lithuanian and Azerbaijani universities, noting that Vytautas Magnus University, for instance, was among ADA University’s first partners.
