NEFTCHI GYMNASTICS TEAM CLAIM BRONZE AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Women gymnasts of the Neftchi sport club have won bronze medals in the world club championship in Tokyo. Aliya Garayeva, Zeynab Javadly and Samira Mustafayeva gained 227.197 in the final round, moving ahead of Bulgarian rivals from Iliana club.
Russia`s Gasprom defended its title by winning championship, followed by Ukraine`s Shkola Deruginyx.
Samira Mustafayeva ranked third due to success in the club and ribbon events.
Aliya Garayeva took the fourth place.
Anna Gurbanova who competed in the Berlin Grandprix could have secured the third spot. She ranked fourth in the all-round competition, loosing all finals. Russian Vera Sesina became a winner at this competition.
