‘New joint projects will further strengthen fraternal ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye’

Vugar Mustafayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry, met with Haluk Görgün, Head of Türkiye’s Defense Industries Secretariat on the sidelines of the SAHA 2026 International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition held in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Toching upon the meeting, Görgün noted that Türkiye and Azerbaijan have established a unique cooperation model in the field of defense industry under the "One nation, two states" concept.
"The fraternal ties between the two countries will be further strengthened with the new joint projects to be implemented in the near future. Our ongoing cooperation with Azerbaijan serves to ensure regional peace, as well as shared prosperity and security," Haluk Görgün emphasized.
