New discussions over a new pilot project were launched in Baku at the TRASECA intergovernmental permanent secretariat within the frameworks of the project on the single tariff policy development.

Deputy Transports Minister of Azerbaijan Musa Panakhov told of the transportation tariff policy pursued by Azerbaijan, significance of the cooperation among Transports Ministries of TRASECA member-countries. He said that every step taken towards expansion of ties among transport ministries and equalization of tariffs is one of the main conditions for competitiveness of Eurasian international transport corridor.

Secretary General of the TRASECA intergovernmental permanent secretariat Ludmila Trenkova expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Transports of Azerbaijan for active help.

Other participants reported on the transport policy of their countries and expressed their opinion on the pilot project.
