‘NIKOIL’ COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT BANK TO FUND RUSSIAN INVESTORS’ PROJECTS IN AZERBAIJAN
Opening of the second Azerbaijani-Russian Economic Forum took place at ‘Gulistan’ Palace on February 22. President of the ‘NIKOIL’ Commercial Investment Bank Mr. Vasily Khamaza, who took part in the Forum, told AZERTAC correspondent: ‘Nikoil is the financial structure, established at the expense of Azerbaijani and Russian capital. It has all the necessary tools to provide its clients both in Russia and Azerbaijan with the full package of services meeting highest demands. The 'NIKOIL’ Investment Commercial Bank, Azerbaijan, is a subsidiary of the transnational finance and oil corporations "NIKOIL" Investment Banks Group and the LUKOIL Oil Company. Uralsib financial corporation and ISR Holding are also among its stockholders. Currently Nikoil is involved in realization of key economic and social projects in Azerbaijan. Crediting is one of NIKoil's major business line in commercial banking activity. The bank also provides investment-banking service, commercial bank service, private bank service, insurance service, and conclusion of agreements with Russian companies on import metal, cement, construction materials and cars.
We hope our efforts will promote further strengthening of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia. The bank will soon open its new branches in Baku and Sumgayit. The bank’s departments are also due to be founded in Ganja, Mingechevir, Guba and Lankaran.
