OFFICIAL WELCOMING CEREMONY AT PRESIDENTIAL PALACE
The official welcoming ceremony for the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus took place on June 8 at the Presidential Palace.
In front of the Palace decorated with national flags of Azerbaijan and Lithuania was lined a Guard of Honor.
President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva warmly welcomed here President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and First Lady Alma Adamkiene.
The two leaders passed along the Guard of Honor. President Adamkus greeted Azerbaijani soldiers.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus, and members of the Lithuanian delegation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
